Xiaoliuchiu Island Kaohsiung
Lovely winter beach weather, easy snorkeling with sea turtles coral and reef fish, quick and inexpensive ferry from DongGang port. Great scenery, this coral island has fascinating rock shapes and flora. Great food,see pics below for restaurants. Gas & electric scooters easy to rent or just bring ur bicycle along on the ferry. During windy winter months in Taiwan, this island has very little wind , mild weather and warm sea to enjoy. I was on the beach just before Xmas. Here's the location of a nice little beach where I saw 3 sea turtles snorkeling:
