Tip: It is best to come to Taiwan from October to April for motorcycle trips.

                      Ideas for a 2 night 3 Day motorcycle trip - Central Taiwan:

Day 1: Meet in Taichung, Shalu train stn . Familiarize with bikes, then travel up along coast to Gao Mei Wetlands . Lunch at seafood market in Harbor. Afternoon visit Lukang historic little town and walk famous market street, taste some local eats. Check in at hotel- Free time to walk around Lukang

Day 2: Breakfast then ride to Chang Hua Big Buddha - Pakua Mountain area. then through valley to Puli and then Sun Moon Lake - Visit Wen Wu Temple, lake cruise , check in at hotel in Ita Thao village on lake. Free time to enjoy dinner and traditional tea ceremonies, snack on local foods etc.

Day 3: B/fast then ride to Puli - visit majestic Chung Tai Monastery and museum, then Puli winery and lunch at steakhouse. Afternoon ride back over route 136 , 99 Hills to Taichung City
